About this coffee

Alongside Gesha, Bourbon Rosado and Wush Wush, Java is the fourth variety Café y Ciencia presents from Mucucay Coffee Farm. Darveris Rivas processes it natural; according to him, it is grown at 2,020 metres.

In the profile, Java combines the sweetness of honey with citrus freshness, along with berries, cacao, spices and a liqueur-like character. At AVPA Paris, Café y Ciencia’s Java received Gourmet Or in 2024 and a Médaille Gourmet in 2025, each for the coffee submitted. A sample shows how the citrus side develops in your roast.
