Venezuela’s coffee growing regions

Nine regions, from the Andean slopes to the coastal range. What our portfolio says about them can be counted: every figure here also stands on a product page.

The Andean regions

Táchira, Mérida and Trujillo lie in the Venezuelan Andes. Elevations are documented for Lara and Mérida.

The other origins

Lara, Yaracuy, Portuguesa, Barinas, Carabobo and Miranda fill out the picture with other soils, other altitudes and other varieties. Across these nine regions our catalogue holds fifty green coffee lots.

Why a region decides nothing on its own

A region is not a quality statement. What decides is the parcel, the harvest window, the processing and the drying. The region tells you the climatic conditions under which that happened.

What you can check

For every lot we name region, farm, producer and variety. Where a value is missing it is simply absent; we do not fill it in from probability.

In short

  • Nine regions in the portfolio, fifty green coffee lots.
  • Documented elevations for Lara and Mérida only.
  • Region, farm, producer and variety on every lot.
